Can anyone who is considering voting for Hillary Clinton tell me why its a good idea that she supports giving social security benefits to illegal aliens, who by the way never paid a dime into the system?

What are the positive benefits that this country would reap by giving someone who never worked for something a free handout?

And please dont respond by telling me that she doesnt support this idea. I live here in DC and have heard her say it a good dozen times over the past year.

Rev Ron, email me and explain to me how asking a question regarding a subject based on her own statements is 'sling mud'. My guess is I'll never hear from you.

Good for you; people need to look at the record before they decide for or against any of the candidates. Too many of them have records that reflect a total different past than they want us too know about today. There is no doubt that Clinton supports the illegal aliens; she has tap danced around the issue but declines to make a positive statement indicating her stand. If a criminal continually embezzles money from their employer for so many years should we say okay you got by with it so keep the money? Isn't that the same as telling people who are illegally here that if you can avoid getting caught we will give you a retirement or other social security benefits? America does not owe ANY illegal Alien anything except a fast trip home. For those who support Hillary; take time to look at her past record. She claims to have a lot of experience but what has she accomplished? Just being there is not credible experience (the felon who spent 20 years in prison has a lot of prison experience but is not qualified to be the warden). She claims she is the most qualified - by what standard? There are other candidates that have as much and more time in government, more experience in foreign relations and experience in government and constitutional law. What experience does she have that she thinks makes her the best qualified? She says she has submitted bills for just about everything America thinks needs to be repaired but she can not show they were supported or passed. She has been trying to push her health plan for over 15 years but can not get backing from democrats or republicans. She has been a part of the government that has taken America into war; she says she voted for the war but did not read the intelligence reports before doing so. How could anyone make such an important decision without studying the issue and getting the facts first? She and her counterparts have allowed Bush to put us into debt, destroy the good name of America throughout the world and taken away many of our constitutional freedoms. She should have been publicly fighting against these things for the past seven years instead of standing up now and telling us how bad things are. PEOPLE TAKE TIME TO STUDY THIS PERSONS BACKGROUND BEFOE YOU CAST A VOTE IN HER FAVOR – Study all the candidates and be sure that when you vote you vote for the right person. Voting just to be voting or voting for someone because you like them without knowing their record could be the last vote you or any of us ever have – VOTE BUT DO IT RIGHT OR STAY HOME!

Social Security should be paid to those and only those who are US citizens and pay into the system. If Hillary Clinton or any one else running for president says giving illegal aliens Social Security benefits is a good thing will find it very difficult to win the White House. There are way too many senior citizens and handicap citizens who can vote against them for them to win. And I'm one of them. I believe in 'when in Rome, do like the Romans. Which means if you want benefits from the US, learn English and take the test. Pay into the system like the rest of us. if they don't and still get benefits, there ain't no wall tall enough or long enough to keep the rest out!

Unless employers are breaking the law social security is withheld from the wages of all employees, so your assertion that they never paid a dime is in general not true. To qualify to collect social security you must have WORKED and paid into the system for 40 quarters that is 10 years. If someone who is illegal meets these requirements, should we just keep the money, return it to them, or let then collect benefits when they turn 65? I do not know what Hillary's position is, but to just keep the money seems like stealing to me, so I hope that is not what she wants to do.

I never heard her or anyone else say anything of the kind. Now if an illegal alien has managed to live in the US and paid into social security for the required 40 quarters, then I suspect that person is probably legally entitled to the money at age 65. If the law enforcment was so lax for all those years that this person managed to get a legal social security card, and then worked under social security for the legal time period I'd say he deserves the money. I'd also say that most lawyers could easily make that case.

You can go and look it up. Just type in the search engine Hillary Clinton on the issues, it will show her voting record. She did vote yes on allowing illegal immigrants to participate in Social Security.

Your facts are wrong. A lot of illegal aliens do pay into the social security system. As for Clinton supporting payment of benefits, what you say you heard is irrelevant unless it can be corroborated. I will say that if she had made a statement like that, vultures like Sean Hannity would be all over it in a second, misreporting it as he normally does.

Considering nobody will get it eventually, why not give them $0.00? Or $0.02?
