What are the advantages and disadvantages of having alcohol before sex?

basically if you have a couple drinks before sex you'll probably open up more, have an easier time getting into the groove of things. And you'll last longer, probably giving the girl more pleasure(if you know what the hell you're doing...if you dont, then the lasting longer will be a disadvantage).

The downside would be you might not remember the night. Your little man might not rise to the occassion. And you might get sloppy. Most men get worse in bed when there drunk.

Well, first and foremost, alcohol lowers inhibitions. you are more likely to sleep with someone you normally wouldnt as well as 'forget' to use protection.

Some ppl think that alcohol heightens the sexual pleasure. For me this is true if I am slightly buzzed, but beyond that, I dont even want to have sex after drinking.

I would suggest having a 'sober sitter' anytime you plan on having more than one or two drinks to keep you in line.

Agreeing with the first answer, unless it's bad sex that you want to forget, alcohol leads to more harm than good. Your perceptions are dulled - this includes vision, touch, taste and smell. Having too much might lead to temporary ED. Stay away from an overdose!

Everybody starts off with a causal only one drink policy but only few can refrain from subsequent rounds before they realize it's a hangover..

A lot of times, men take much longer to finish, which is good for a woman and makes a guy feel good. A disadvantage is potentially getting sick, (depends on your tolerance and how much you drink, obviously) and it takes a woman longer to achieve climax, at least for me it does, which sucks for a woman. But I guess it all evens out if the man is taking longer as well. You just get to go longer and have more fun. :)

Depends on the amount of alcohol consumed, but it's been said to lower inhibitions. From personal experience I have found myself doing & saying things that I have always wanted to do & say, but couldn't if not for a few drinks. Becareful.... Too much alcohol does nothing for the libido.

Alcohol can be good because it released your inhibitions, making you more willing to do things without thinking to much about it. It also impairs your judgement to where more and more people get better looking.

Too much alcohol can make it difficult or impossible to get properly 'aroused' for sex. It's a fine line to walk, but the pros outweigh the cons if you need a little 'liquid courage.'
