Seems like everyone took your question to mean the opposite. Your point is that Fascists should NOT call themselves conservatives because that would be a mis-label. Any way, Fascism, Communism, Nazism, etc. all share the common root with a basic Social Darwinsist mentality. Rule with the fist because humans have no more inherent value than trees or pigs. Rule with the fist because you have the rights that come with being the most "fit". Exterminate others to prove that they are less "fit'. etc. Hitler when seeing his victories crumble expressed his sentiments in evolutionary terms in that the Slavic peoples had proved themselves to be genetically superior. If anyone even opened a Bible in Germany during that time they would have known that anti-semitism is about as Biblical as evolution. (oh, that's right, the pastors who brought that point up suffered the same fate as their Jewish bretheren.) They are all the ugly bi-products of western civs rejection of God's word. Liberals like the Inquisition and the Papacy during the crusades believed you could just inerpret the Bible in any old way based upon personal ambition and political goals. Conservatives, who learn to be so through intellegent life experiences, (having to earn a paycheck and be responsible for the life of another is often enough to start knocking the liberalism out of people) know the value of keeping the letter and the spirit of the law and conforming to it instead of the other way around.. Wow, where did all that come from.

Same reason communists constantly label themselves as liberals, (no this is not an attack on legitimate liberals.) Technically fascists are conservatives, they are extreme conservatives, on the very far right. Same with communists technically they are liberals, and are on the extreme left. Liberal does not mean democrat exclusively, and conservative does not mean republican exclusively. Republicans and Democrats are actually moderates and are very close together on the scale, that is why politicians are always posturing and attempting to look like they are further apart than they actually are.

Because most of those who consider themselves to be "strict conservatives" are poorly educated and have limited life experience, thus making them extremely gullible and easily led to support fascist charlatans who wave fake issues that government has no business being involved in at all, such as gay marriage and abortion.
Meanwhile, these collaborators and their neo-con leaders are destroying everything good that America ever stood for!
As a result, the Bush administration will go down as the greatest tragedy ever to occur in the history of the planet.

Probably for the same reason that communist collaborators constantly call themselves 'liberal'.
