Pick something that interests you and avoid hot-button issues (abortion, religion, politics). The reasoning behind the first is obvious. As for the second: it's harder to find objective sources for a lot of those things, they get old fast, and it can be hard to get people to listen when they're already planning on how to rebut you.
Do something related to education, perhaps, or your career objective.
