I dont know but i wish that tradition would end. The lions and cowboys are so boring. Im sure Favre and the Pack will take care of them.

It was tradition that Green Bay and Detroit played on Thanksgiving at Detroit, but Green Bay over the years thought that this was unfair because they would always have to go to Detroit so they backed out of this tradition. Detroit kept the tradition of playing on Thanksgiving and the league decided to add another game and Dallas wanted the job of playing on Thanksgiving so that is why they play on Thanksgiving.

Back when they decided to do it, Dallas and Detroit were the only teams who wanted to do it. So it became a tradition.
