Only if the Holy Spirit within me testified about him. When you are saved Jesus sends his Spirit to live in your heart. I would know if God was here and came up to me. The Spirit within me would jump for joy, remember in the Bible about Mary and Elisabeth in the book of Luke chapter 1, it says the baby leaped for joy.

No, I don't think so. The only way I might believe is if he revealed himself to me in a special, personal way. God can be mysterious and yet straightforward. It is like the one poster said, when you have the holy spirit in you, you will know. Only His spirit can do that.
