No, the PS3 is not slow and does not freeze a lot. My PS3 isn't slow and it doesn't freeze.

Some PS3 owners were having these problems after they downloaded the 2.00 firmware update. The problem that was causing the PS3's XMB to slow down was a new feature called the Information Board that was included in the new update. The Information Board can be turned off and the problem with slowing down is easily solved.

I turned off the Information Board on my PS3 the day I downloaded the new update because I was noticing that my PS3 was slowing down a little and then everything was back to normal with no more problems.

But if you want to talk about hardware problems, the Xbox 360 is always open for discussion!
