You should probably figure out what the notes are too. And the note values.

Without referring you to an actual keyboard, it is difficult to explain this. Please take the time to read this Wikipedia article; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_keyboard.

In short, the eight white keys in an octave are separated by 5 black keys, or "sharps", which are also known as "flats". Generally, the black keys are half-step tones (with two exceptions, between E and F, and B and C.

Music is transcribed to paper with a system which allows musicians to read, understand, and play universally. It's like a foreign language; once you know what it says and means, then a whole new world opens up for you.

any black keys, will have the sharp symbol(#) or the flat symbol, which looks like a backwords lowercase b. i think that's your question. im sorry if its not.
