Either one is acceptable, it's more about are you a very disciplined person when D&Ding...I personally am and drove drunk as a skunk at least a 100 times without incident...for the people that get careless they should take a cab.

Its better not to drink and drive. There are perks for back roads, such as if you slam into a tree you would probably not be killing any one else besides yourself , hopefully. Also, you may not be found if you do hit a tree or decide to sleep it off and turn on your heater while getting fixated, that is not a good perk. Get the message? You could harm yourself or others while drinking and driving so its BETTER TO NOT DRINK AT ALL WHILE DRIVING.

well first of all u should not be drinking and driving but i think they are at a equal rate because if u go on back roads they could be whindy and small so ur at risk but if ur on main roads there are a lot of people on those roads and there are more cops so ur at risk again so if i were u dont drink and drive

What a conundrum, where I live, the main roads ARE back roads. Guess we get the best of both worlds!

Sir Joey
If you wanna keep your image along with your royal name...take my advice...take neither road, take the road less traveled and call a friend, a relative a cab or beg a stranger to drive U & save your life as well as others life.

I have someone near & dear to my heart that after tanking up at the bars & clubs--did drive. Miraculously he didn't kill himself or anyone else, but he sure did hurt himself & his parents for 7 years because a traffic court judge took his drivers license & he had to be hauled to work, to court his girlfriend, to go to his classes, shopping, getting a haircut---anything that was far enough away that he had to be driven.

To those that will be at anytime away from home & drinking alcohol---be kind to yourself & those that love you---call anyone to give you a ride, even if you have to pay for it because the dumb moron way is very very very sorrowful and costly to friends & family.

As of now this person has been alcohol free for almost 3 years...know what?...he has a family, they NOW have their home paid for, their vehicles paid for, a 32 ft motor home paid for, their pantry, cabinets & fridge are bursting with groceries, bills are paid on time & they go on sweet vacations by jet/air travel, instead of paying fines & probation fees......& 2 happy little 8 & 9 yr olds boys that have real gas powered 4 wheelers, motorcycles,go-karts,video games, new bicycles & the list gones on for what is now bought instead of booze & fines....I have to say with tears in my eyes & a lump in my throat.....angels...gather here....I know...because I am this 32 y/o's mama that was this victim of alcohol.

You are kidding me...Right??? Don't drink and drive!!! Come on you have to know the consequences thousands and thousands of $$ for lawyers fees if you get caught DUI and jail for manslaughter if you kill someone... and perhaps death for you as well!!! Do you know how many people have had their hearts ripped apart because a drunk driver killed their loved ones??? Think about it!!! How would you feel if someone killed someone you love due to drunk driving??? Do you want to chance ruining your life or be responsible for ruining others life's??? Pay the $$ for a cab or have a designated driver!!!

Main roads so the police can catch you. My dear cousin, top of her class, was to graduate in one month. She worked part time, was a wonderful person, was killed by a drunk driver on a back road. If you must be in a car and drink, please stay in your own driveway.

It's better to keep your butt off the road. If you know you will be drinking and you know you will be driving well enough to contemplate which roads to take choose neither. Don't kill yourself, or an innocent life. Play smart.

If you've been drinking you should NEVER drive. Take a cab or call a friend ALWAYS. I can't believe people are still doing this in the 21st century.
