sure, they can be ranked or judged with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best. is this right you ask? no i don't believe in doing this but it happens and it is a way a person could be a number. can is happen, of course. may or should it happen absolutely not but it does.

yes. i don't know about you but i got about 15 numbers assigned to me. social security #, case #, employee ID #, PIN #, etc.
not to mention that humans are reduced every day to being statistics.
