I have type O blood and want to know what ethnic background is this type most found. I have heard that it is people from the mediterranian sea and American Indians. and I am descended from both of these groups. I can find nothing on the internet about this.

blood type b is found most often in native americans, except in about...3? tribes, which are o. however, i think the 3 tribes were located mostly around the canadian border. being a blood o doesn't really affect anything except who you can donate to, and which childhood illnesses you were most suceptible to.
