There has been suggestions in my family to put it up earlier, but we felt that would kill the mood of Thanksgiving. So we settle for the day after.

My neighbor has his up already. K mart has had its artificial Xmas trees up in its store since September. After summer comes Christmas now. No more fall or Halloween or Thanksgiving. Just summer then Christmas.

my old Christmas The branches are in the pots outside
on the porch that gets lights for the holidays
no tree in the house but lights everywhere
New York is the brightest They put lights on the trees
the biggest thrill is when you come gliding down on a plane
and landing in this city it looks like a shinning SAPPHIRE
of marvelous sparkle and color like fire crackers on land
instead of the sky you are falling into,!!

I am going to try to get away without a tree this year because the children are grown and I get stuck with all the work and mess. I can't wait to see other displays though!

we start decorating the day after Thanksgiving, but I've been noticing a lot of decorations up and on now. I, personally, don't care to see fall and Christmas decorations up 2gether.
