so, its clear im goin their to get high as i can..haha, clearly amsterdam, but wait, ive heard other places in holland are just as good for gettin high, and sometimes better cos of its less tourist-ie...wots ur thoughts on this, stick to amsterdam square, keep it simple, get very high, or look more into other parts of holland for a better time...

All of the Netherlands have the same laws about drugs and alike, and in most town the traditions are much like Amsterdam.
I think you will enjoy yourself better in a smaller town like Arnhem, Nijmegen or even Maastricht, as the 'local' people will be students and local working young people, rather than tourists who are going crazy because they see and do what they are to sissy to look for in their own country.
(You can find everything you find in the Netherlands in every country, if not openly advertised, so you might save yourself a lot of money by staying home and get high there.)

If you are going to Holland why waste your time getting high contrary to popular belief Holland is not all sexx and drugs far from it it is a very beautiful country so if you are going there I suggest you use a bit of commonsense and open your eyes and se a bit of this wonderful country I go there at least once a year and have never yet bothered with sex or drugs here are some tips for you for getting around the country http://www.ns.nl the site for the Dutch railways which is also done in English if you look at the top of the page you will see where it says English and also here is another site for you http://www.holland.com that will tell you allot about Holland and what the various cities are like

You'd be better off sticking to pickling cucumbers, onions, and beetroots. At least the end result is potentially useful and might give someone some pleasure.
What's the point of travelling to Amsterdam or anywhere else for that matter, just to pickle your brains? I'm sure you could do that perfectly well where you are!
The only people who benefit from drug taking, are the people selling you the stuff, but I guess it may already be too late for you to have enough grey cells left to be able to understand that!

Hi amsterdam has the better coffeeshops if you goto the right ones... barneys, grasshopper etc.... And it is more live and a better place to smoke and have fun

Stay off the mushrooms..... i had a buddy that "came too" in some random street in amsterdam he had no idea where he was, what he had done or where his wallet/shoes had gone ..... lucky he found a nice taxi driver that took him back to the hotel for free!

The police put up with a certain amount of "high" spirits it the touristy areas but if you start spreading yourself about they might not be so tolerant, let alone keep an eye on your general safety.
