I let my cousin borrow 40 dollars.
She said she would pay me back in a week.
But now it has been a month and she still hasn't paid me. =(

ooh yeah when i used to have a job my older brother and sister always used to ask me for money and they said they would pay me back but never did, it sucks. maybe your cousin just hasn`t had money to pay you back, if you see her on thanksgiving ask her about it. =]

If you didn't owe her something, will you be doing an errand for her or will you say NO, i don't want to do what you want. I think you just think that because she lend you money and now she's abusing you. You're cousins remember. and she's asking you favor because of your relations with her and you asked money from her for the same reason. If you do not want to do her favors, tell her straightforward and i think she will understand you.

Bummer. My family or relatives don't borrow but it becomes annoying when neighbors or friends do. Of course I never get it back and I know that when I "lend"

yes I hate that. I don't call it borrowing, I know I will never see that money again so I just call it a gift.

Tell her to give it back. If she can not then discuss a repayment plan. Dont lend her anymore money.
