Why won't Dems realize that Hillary can't win in a General election against Giuliani? How do you think Bush won the last two elections? It all boils down to likablitiy. I've heard so many dimwits I know who voted for Bush say "I voted for him because he seems like a guy I could hang out with, he seems down to earth. That Kerry/Gore guy is a robot". Forget about the current polls, they are meaningless until the reality of the General Election is at hand. Picture the debate of Hillary against Rudy on T.V. Who's has the abrasive, hard exterior? She won't be winning anyone over that isn't with her already. Let's face it she is a very unlikeable character. If you are a Democrat and you vote for Hillary in the upcoming primaries you can thank yourself when the Repubs keep the Whitehouse and the Iraq war continues with no end in sight. Not to mention 4 more years of sitting on our butts concerning global warming.

Joe T, let's face the facts. I know it's depressing, but how do you think Bush won the second time around? To beat the dimwits you have to get in their heads and think like them in order to beat them.

Chuck, I feel that Obama has the best shot at beating Giuliani. He has a calm demeanor and a solid intelligent delivery. He seems to win over both Repubs and Independents.

I agree! Guiliani would beat Hillary! Romney would also beat Hillary!

Polls DON'T mean anything! JUST ASK JOHN KERRY! The polls had Kerry beating Bush back in 2004! But guess who won!

The other thing is too many people hate Hillary Clinton! She certainly would be a bad choice for the democrats. She flip flops too much!

I am a Paul supporter. The entire system has me fed up. I am sick of hearing all news promote Romney & Giuliani for over a year now...They are literally electing the candidate. Hillary is trash, but so is a neocon Giuliani. Because of that, I will not vote for Giuliani. If I cannot vote for Ron Paul, if I cannot write in his name, I will not vote at all. As far as im concerned, let hillary win, and it will show that conservatives and libertarians and constitutionalists are sick of the mainstream opinions forced down our throats. It will also shwo that the republicans need to change some things next time around if they want to win. It would help kill the current neocon "im a 45% democrat republican" additude.

I'd say vice versa.. nominating Giuliani guarantees Hillary or whoever the democratic nominee is in the White House..

and I'm no Clinton/Giuliani fan, but how is Senator Obama any different? he voted in favor of reauthorizing the Patriot Act, he cannot commit to withdrawing the troops out of Iraq by 2013, possibly later.. He hasn't ruled out using strikes against Iran, not to mention the same vote he criticizes Hillary for, he missed himself and sponsored the exact same legislation designating the IRG a terrorist organization in back in April.. He implied that he would invade Pakistan, without the consent of their government.. He made votes making it more difficult for average citizens to sue big corporations.. He has no consistency on the issues of social security and taxes, in the very beginning he was for raising the cap, then having all options on the table, then appointing a bipartisan commission, now he's back to raising the cap.. He receives contributions from lobbyists, corporations and interest groups.. He promises "change" but he has neither the substance, the experience, nor desire to deliver this change..

Let's not assume either of them are going to win their parties nominations.

I'll vote for the Republican Ticket to ensure America's safety.

Right now my best match on the candidate calculator is Mike Huckabee.

Try it and see who your best match is, it may not even be someone in the party that you traditionally vote within. It only takes a few minutes.

VOTE TO KEEP AMERICA SAFE

The problem we have is that running for President isn't worth it for the most qualified in the country. We are left with people wacko enough to want to go through what it takes. It is no longer an honorable thing to serve your country by running for national office - including congress. Sadly, people that are very qualified would be faced with an unreal amount of media bashing and, let's face it - most of us have a skeleton or two in the closet. At this point, I dislike voting for anyone who really wants the job.

Enough people did not vote for Bush to be President the unlikeable Gore won the popular vote.

There is mounting evidence that Kerry won Ohio. Unless you can think of a way Bush got more votes in a county then there was people.

Im not a Hillary supporter, My guy is Biden but I will vote for her if it comes down to it!!

If you look at Zogby Polls from last week. Edwards beats every Repube combo in the general election....

Well then you are saying that America votes for a person to lead them into a nuclear-aged, terrorist ridden 21st century with an emerging Asia and resurgent Russia, based on their LIKABILITY?

That sort of dooms us as a nation, don't you think?

Let's vote for Mr Rogers then!

I hope you are brave enough to eat your words. Rudy Guiliani won't even carry his home state, New York, most and I do mean most New Yorkers hate him. He is a sell out and all about himself. Even his children are endorsing other candidates. You may not like Hillary but she is not only liked but loved by many. Oh by the way I am not a democrat, just for your information..... I will remind you of this once she wins....
