It's that time again. The friday after Thanksgiving the malls and chain stores will be swamped with deal buying shoppers. How much money do you spend on that day?
Also, what time do you hit the stores? I get up at 6, I'm out the door by 7:00 am.

I'm almost done, too.I was planning on finishing this weekend but then some Black Friday ads surfaced, and I've got to say, there are some pretty good deals.
I love the insanity, though! lol

My shopping is long done, and I am trying to avoid the madness and enjoy watching it, but I'm allowing myself $50 of "fun money" (part of it an AMEX gift card I got for my birthday) in case I really want to buy something for myself or someone else. But I'm not going to pressure myself to go after any particular deals. I'm too old for that!
If I don't oversleep, I'll probably be out no later than 7 to see the crowds and see, out of curiosity, what's really selling big.

I'm only a freshman and I've never gone shopping on Black Friday, but this year I might just to see all of the insanity. Plus, I don't have that much money so if I see some deals that would work out nicely.

I'll probably spend around $200. I work in retail also, but I don't like having stuff just sitting around so I usually buy in early December and use the last paycheck before Christmas for last minute gifts-and admittedly yes, for things for people who I definitely will not see before Christmas due to conflicting schedules and what not. My main thing is shopping at places where I normally shop and they have gifts with purchase so it may justify my spending a little extra.
I have to be at work at 5:30 AM because we open at 6, but the next day we also open at 6. The mall about 20 minutes from mine is doing Midnight Madness though...

I'm also almost done, i need to buy a few more thing, on black i hop to finish. I live in Chicago so the store get busy fast but Target, Kohl's and Toysrus are mot that bad.ill probably leave my house around 6:00 am good Luck and have fun

We will never shop on that day ever again. The last 2 years were a nightmare. The network that supports the cash registers went down and people left their full carts all over only to get the next store to find it was the same all over. We are actually almost done shopping except for small stocking stuffers and candy.

The only time I spend money on Black Friday is if I see a fantastic sale for one particular item, then, I go to that one store and get it--often when the store opens. Otherwise, I avoid the craziness and shop online--much of my shopping is already done!

I'm going to go nuts on Black Friday and buy a ton of christmas stuff as fast as i can. It got soo crazy last year all over, things were getting sold out soo fast but it was fun!

sadly im not spending any money im not even getting up to go. i had surgery almost 3 weeks ago on my knee and it would be difficult to get around as it is but the added people would make it even worse

im gonna spend bout $200-500 im 15 i have to by my bf sports jacket that like 200 then i have to buy bro-sis gifts that bout 100 then my parents so 50 each about 100 then my best friend that 20 each that bout 120 and that olny on friday i still have to get my bf season passes to the yankkes ur problay askin y so much for ur bf because we been goin out for 4 years and he gettin me this diamound promise ring and this jacket so yea and i have to get my gradma somthin to so overall in chirtmas im gonna spend about 1000 and im not rich i just work hard i babysit everyday 20 an hour last week the parents were gone 4 10 hours so i made 20o dollars for a week of babysiting im make around 500 dollars and black friday there going and i have 3 babysit but there paying me double cuz they kno i have to go shop so im gettin 40 dollars an hour and they said there be gone from 7-4;30 so 10 hours 400 dollars and i have a paper rote that i make bout 500 dollars from so im not rich im just work for y money and i can wait till black friday pleaze chosse me 4 best answe

Probably none. I usually stay home on that day because of all the insane drivers in town.
