The methods are not important as long as the desired results are met... The end of the human race is simply not enough... The breaking of this world is the more preferable choice... When this world breaks, everything will end... And the Earth will be reborn, cleansed of suffering and of those who defiled Her... A time will come when that happens and no one can stop it because the future has been decided...

What makes you think it will end. The next 5 years will be a huge turning point for the human race culminating probably in 2012. The earth can only take so much and will cleanse itself soon. People who greedily take from the earth without any thought of gratitude or return will be in a sticky situation. Love the earth and it will look after you.....

they say in 2012 apocalypse (sp?!) will take over the worls and in 2055 the seas will flood the lands and end our humanity as we know it but they say in 2067 that the sun will die out become a dwarf and crash into the erths surface and destroy humanity we know it!
so they really dont know how the earth will end the cant exactly penn point it!

some how, one way or another we will just kill each other, but there will be survivors, just not many...
if you believe in the Bible/Jesus/God, the Revelations states that the strongest nation will fall and the world will come to an end in a way no one thought possible....

here's something else...
there's a guy that died way back when but he made a prophesy kinda thing...
it involved 10 popes starting from the one that was alive when he was..... up to the ninth one, every prediction he made came true... the tenth?? we're on him now.... and he predicted the world would end before the tenth pope died... so when you ask? less then 20 years.... unless of course he goes for the oldest man on earth....then 30 yrs?

oh and the way no one thought possible? what if the world turned on its axis? that was also a prediction by a guy that predicted over 10,000 things... correctly...... and supposedly, if the earth turns to a different degree that he predicted, the whole northern hemisphere will be under water and equator preference will change and so forth... something to think about!! ;-)

Human life as we know it is ever changing. We will evolve out of the state we are in now, thus ending this period.

However, the end of the species in general? Can happen many different ways.
The climates can start getting harsher as our sun fades out and we wont be able to tolerate it.
A meteor could hit and kill many, wounding others, and making it so we can not survive because of dust and atmospheric conditions.
The sun could start to die,a nd before a star dies it essentially gets really hot and expands, making our atmosphere thin and give out, thus creating an unlivable environment...
Humans could create a devistating bomb or weapon, and use it without thought and therefore kill or devestate the population of the world to a number that we can not come back from...

There are so many things that could happen...
Some believe its all in a gods hands.
Others say its all in natures hands.
Others say it will be a gods work through a natural disaster...

The Mayan Calander actually ends in 2012. They were an ancient Indian superior civilazation who disappeared without a trace in the south of Mexico. Black Elk, another superior spiritual Indian leader in the 1800's also predicted the year 2012. As well as the I Ching calander from the ancient Chinese from several thousands of years ago...their calander of time ends in the year 2012. I remember hearing about our planet Earth being in a certain alignment with the sun and moon and at a certain tilt of it's polar axis in the year 2012. Supposedly, this hasn't happened in thousands of years & the last time it did, it was disasterous. Think I'll look it up again and refresh my memory!

Depends on your definition of human life. With all of the advances in science, pretty soon we'll practically be cyborgs and people with replacement parts grown in test tubes. Are we really human then? If we develop the technology to modify our bodies, implant memory chips, and so forth, are we really human then? What makes us human?

(Ahh, the inevitable fate of all philosophic discussion. To end with more questions than you began with)

At the hands of man it will end.
When those who never tried to make a difference are long gone and they are remembered as selfish fools by those who will wonder why.

Yes! Millions of species have lived on earth and become extinct, what makes us different?
We think we are superior only because we have forgotten about Nature. Nature can be cruel. Species die out because they can no longer adapt. Human beings have forgotten how to adapt, therefore they will eventually become extinct or destroy themselves.
To guess when would be folly. No one knows. It will happen when it happens.

It will end wonderfully but I couldn't tell you when. No one can see the when of our own personal demise, never mind the whole race.
