they have kids and don't want the kid to have to deal with them being apart?
Well I think that my parents might have been like that. I don't think that they really love each other anymore.
They don't sleep in the same bed anymore, they argue all the time, they talk bad about each other behind each other's backs to us (us meaning us kids), and I haven't seen them hug or kiss in forever.
It's coming to the point where I am just thinking,"Why can't they just divorce? It would make our lives all easier! And we wouldn't have to hear the arguing."
What am I suppose to do in this situation? I know this sounds wrong, but I really wish they would just divorce! It would make everything easier on us.

Your question is a perfect example of why parents shouldn't stay together for the kids. I did the same thing. Once I divorced, my kids were happier, I was happier and my ex was happier.
Right now, you're not learning what it's like to live in a happy household. That is an important experience for a child to have in order to be able to have a happy relationship.

I am so sorry you are going through this. If I were you I would make a copy of this post...and leave it out where they can see it. I wish people could see they are doing more harm than good to their children when they stay together....Parents are conveying the meesage that it is normal to be unhappily married. Everyone deserves to be happy.

YEAH THAT HAPPENED TO ME 2 TIMES, MY BOYFRIEND ONLY GOT MARRIED FOR SAME REASON TO HIS SOON BE EX. WE ARE IN LOVE HAVE LEFT THE PAST IN THE PAST. LET OUR SPOUSES BE UNHAPPY. OF COURSE IT IS PAINFULL WISH I COULD SAY MINE WAS DO TO MY CHEATING. MINE WAS DO TO HIS CHEATING. DIVORCE IS HARD BUT CAN BE THE MOST FORGIVING AND UNDERSTANDING IF ONE IS READY TO DO JUST THAT TO MOVE ONE. OUR SPOUSES LIVE IN DIFFERENT STATES OUT SITUATIONS ARE DIFFERENT BUT WE ARE DIFFERENT CAUSE THEY LEFT FIRST. THEY CHOOSE TO LEAVE FOR WHATEVER REASONS. CAN BE DEVESTATING IN LOSING EVERYTHING.. FREEDOM FROM THE HURT FINDING PEACE IN THE END, HAPPINESS WITH SOMEONE ELSE IS WHAT WE DID. WE MOVED ON WITHOUR LIVES.

when i was little i used to wish my parents would get a divorce because my dad was always yelling and scaring us all the time....... i feel your pain
