The answer to 2+2 times 10 is 22 because the order of operation and you need to do 10 times 2 first which equals 20 plus 2 and your answer is 22

1st interpretation of the problem:
= (2 + 2) * 10
= 4 * 10
= 40

2nd interpretation of the problem:
= 2 + (2 * 10)
= 2 + 20
= 22

If it is 2+ 2* 10 then
2+2*10
=2+20
=22

or if it is (2+2)*10 then
(2+2)*10
=4*10
40
