My question is based on what is prevailing in most regions in India. Black is also used as a colour to express grief and protest in India. This is an innocent question and I request my brethren in Yahoo Forum not to misconstrue it.
I am dark in complexion and I am proud about it.

In one of Yahoo Answers I read this about Australia. Is it true?

"It is illegal to roam the streets wearing black clothes, felt shoes and black shoe polish on your face as these items are the tools of a cat burgular"

I do not think it is programmed by whites. I think it is natural. Darkness is absence of light, who won't like light?
Because of in inherent human instinct people like white color. But, because of this likeness people tend to discriminate black skinned people. Well, though it is not good and we should avoid it. Practically it is not possible to eliminate such feelings totally. Solution for such discrimination is to glorify human traits such as kindness, love, spiritualty, generosity etc.

People in various regions have different qualities, in some region people are short, in some people have curly hair..So, we can't really solve this problem by teaching that look is irrelevent. This is something we have to face in this world. Of course, final judge will be God and His judgement will be based on our character, intentions and deeds.

um because it is mysterious and represents the unknown. actually, in many ancient agrarian societies, black is pretty much the color of rich, fertile soil so infact is a color of LIFE (like Egypt). White in this country is the color of mourning, the absence of life.
Your answer, for India, is this: many, many years ago, the people living in India were very dark in complexion.
Then, there were waves of invaders from the Caucus Mountains, which we called Aryans. These were whitish people (coming from eastern Europe). They were a very warlike culture and quickly conquered lush, fertile India, but through years of living there, they picked up some color (likely thru interbreeding with attractive Indian women, as they were primarily MALE invaders). The decendants of the Aryan conquerers instituted a caste system, and not surprisingly, used skin complexion as part of this unbreakable system. The highest caste has the most Aryan blood, the lowest has none. You can research this yourself. History is some pretty cool stuff.

Wearing Black colour while in single, Crows will attack suddenly. That's why in General Mourning while in Group, they advice Black colour.

Black colour will not allow Light pass thru, and it suffocates in summer, while wearing Black shirts.

Similarly Red colour too, for the fear of Bull attack suddenly, people in India avoid while in single. Even cows turn wild some times.

No, whoever told you that is telling a joke. :)

Yes, it is the same in Britain; often something bad is prefixed with the word black or dark. I do not know why, but I imagine it has more to do with the night than because of any skin colour. (if you don't believe me, watch a scary documentary on Ghosts..most people will switch the light on.)

I don't fully agree with your argument. People wear white clothes to inauspicious ceremonies like at someones funeral. They don't wear black.

um (if i understand the question(which i do no longer think of i do)) by way of fact darkness represents the unknown to us it is the reason human beings each and every so often worry it, by way of fact they worry the unknown and improve to associate issues they worry with darkness by potential of that(an occasion is dying, many worry dying by way of fact it is linked with the unknown : what occurs to us while we die?, for this reason dying has exchange into linked with darkness, i advise what colour do you place directly to a funeral?). it somewhat is likewise why new human beings or progression can each and every so often be shunted to the realm or hated and so on: by way of fact human beings merely worry the unknown. wow, desire you understood that considering that regulate into good regardless of if it spoke back the question or no longer!

It's the color of night. Humans have an inherent fear of nighttime, because when we were on the savannas, that was when we were most vulnerable. Humans have the worst night vision of any primate.
