First get some cotton seeds and a place to plant them . When the plants are mature , pick the cotton bolls and pull the fibers from the boll .
When you get this far , I'll take you a step farther .

What's scratch? Ok...you get a pattern and some material. Cut the material. Start sewing. If you don't know how to do these things, then you are in trouble.

Make the pattern, either a sleeveless vest and separate sleeves, or just a basic T shape to your measurements. Cut two and sew them together RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER. I reccomend a stretchy jersey fabric. Voila. If you need more information, feel free to contact me. I LOVE helping people with sewing.

you would have to be able to knit then you would have to get the correct threads and knit them together very tight-then you would have to sew the pieces together-why would you want to go through all that?
