Well, I'm not particularly into shaving that area but yea its nice when my wife does. I dont think it really matters to me. And if your getting bumps down there, that means your not using the right shaving cream OR your using a dull razor OR your skin is just really sensitive. Everyones skin is different. The way I see it is if it irritates you, then dont shave. If a guy doesnt like you for not shaving...then what was he really after?

First of all if I were you man? It wouldn't matter to me it you shaved or not. What it comes down to is if you like it that way or not. I think if you do prefer it shaved? Just don't shave it so often. That is why you might be getting all the nicks. And as for all the bumps. I would think that is like getting razor burn ... from shaving so often and so close. To me waxing sounds painfull. How about trying some kind of hair removal like nair. that stuff works pretty good

Those red bumps and scars should go away with time. My girl had that problem when she first shaved and she thought it would be permanent. The bumps go away and the scars eventually fade. It think that only happens the first time you shave because she hasn't had that problem since. Just shave regularly so that your skin down there gets used to the blade. Another thing you could do is get that area waxed or just use hair remover.

Sorry not a man, but don't shave. Use a hair removal cream (painless) or get waxed. Don't home wax its very painful.
I can't shave down there, so use the hair removal cream. I know its natural to let it grow and all, but I think too many guys are scared of pubic hair to let it grow, it freaks some guys out.
However if you know no one will see it, let it grow. Or if your in a long term relationship, ask him what he thinks.

I have that problem... not to THAT extent but my skin is pretty sensitive as well. That also tends to happen when I get shaved for a tattoo, but every time after its okay... oh, I digress. What I learned tpo do as a tattoo artist is to shave WITH the grain. Just like when sanding wood. It takes a little more time to get it bare, but it will never ever do you wrong. Much love to a fellow sensitive gal, hang in there girl, you know no matter what you are gorgeous!

If you want to be smooth then have electrolysis or laser removal done. It is the best way to get rid of the fur down there.
I don't like my fur and I shave all the time but I have been doing it for over 30 years and I'm used to it. But if I had the choice when I first started, I would have electrolysis done.

Can't you use an electric shaver and give it a "buzz cut"? You don't have to shave it with a razor - that hurts and is tough not to break skin. I think now-a-days, most men prefer groomed, not bare, pubic areas. If you keep it "mowed", and it looks like you're taking care of it, I think most men will like it.

well unless a woman is shaved down there i wont mess with it..i take care of mine and i like her to take care of her's....nothing turns me off more when i go down there and its got hair..its just nasty...i know bumps and scars can b the result but i would also try something called Talc powder...its helps reduce bumps...its been around forever..u can use it after shaving and it also helps reduce any other razor rash...u might also want to try warming your lotion before u apply that way it will soften the skin even more in that area...but what ever u do pls dont let it grow back..i know its easy to not shave and not worry about irritation..but 99.999999% of men will not find if attractive with hair there

I can understand why u want 'down there' to be smooth an beautiful. Guys love it to. There are other ways to remove hair from 'down there'. You could try waxing or hair removal creams or gels. All work as well as shaving if not better but with out cutting.
