Everytime my kids get a stomach virus they vomit only at night for about 4 or five nights in a row or they may skip nights, but usually it goes on for about a week. During the day they are happy...running around and eating. I try to limit their diet as much as I can, but they are starving! There is no diarrhea involved. Has anyone ever heard of this?

I don't know why this would happen but you should talk to your Dr. and see why. If you are afraid of dehydration try giving some pedia-lite or juice. Good luck. Please edit your question when you find out whats wrong I'd like to know.

Do they get fever with it? Fevers tend to get worse at night, and fevers tend to make little kids throw up.

I think its actually pretty normal, fever or not. As a kid I only remember throwing up at night- and I dont really remember my siblings throwing up during the day. My 9 month old has only thrown up twice, but both of those times were in the evening.

It could be mucus from their nose and throats being swallowed and irritating their stomachs. I dont think its anything to worry about though.
