b/c i have argued time and time again that just because i am female it doesnt mean that i cant video games as well as any other guy. (mainly halo)
so please help me to persuade them that i'm just as good as they are!

Because many boys still think that girl are avoiding all Technology including computers and games. Because they still think that all girls do on a computers is chat or write e-mails or play solitaire.
Because they are idiots. And because there are still woman out there that feed the cliche.
This is coming from a female that works in the technical department of a computer firm.
I have male customers every once in a while that have problems with me being female.
And I have female customers that complain when I ask them as much as to unplug a power cable that they rather wait for their husband.
They both feed the cliche.
As for boys that don't believe you...tell them once.
Either they accept it then or they can not be helped.
PS: A lot of my female colleges play Video or Online Games like WoW.

I think that a girl can be just as good as a guy at video games, I just think that some games take girls a little big longer to figure out how to play.
For instance, my 17 year old sister is good at action/adventure games like Jak and Daxter, Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and games like that. But she really isn't good at first person shooting games like Halo. I remember one time she tried to play a first person shooter and she could hit the enemies, but she couldn't get used to using both of the analog sticks at the same time while shooting, and she ended up dead in the game over and over again.
You can be just as good, just keep on practicing.

I never had that preconceived notion. In fact, I play Counter Strike at least 4-5x a week, and on the server I play there are several girl gamers, and a few of them who kick butt!
All it is is hand-eye coordination, and anybody despite their gender has the potential to work on this. The better you get, the quicker you can aim, and this relates to real life such as martial arts, knitting, painting, driving, you name it.

maximum adult adult males those days (regrettably) like COD over Pokemon any day. adult adult males do like ladies who play video games even though it relies upon what sort of video games. There are video game followers, and then there are Nintendo game followers. You seem extra on the Nintendo section so if i've got been you i'd seem for somebody who likes Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Animal Crossing, etc
