y=4t implies t=y/4. Substitute into first parametric. we get x=2(y/4)^2 we get on rearranging a parabolic equation
y^2=8x

t = √(x/2)

y = 4√(x/2)

Eliminate t
t=y/4
x = 2(y/4)^2
x = y^2/8

2x = t^2

t = + or - sq.rt (2x)

y = 4t

y = 4 * + or - sq.rt(2x)

y = + or - 4*sq.rt. (2x)
