As a rule, milk cows will produce 40 to 60 gallons of milk per milking, usually twice per day. In addition, they also go through a "dry" period, usually about 3 months out of the year. During this time they produce no milk. So to answer your question, approximately 426,500 eight ounce glasses per year.
