Death , Destruction , Suicide , Hate Messages , Depression
Worshiping the Devil and hating life and wanting to die
and all they do is scream and yell as loud as they can its nothing but noise

rap and rock were great in the 90's and 80's....nowadays theres hardly any good rappers out there. Its gotten to the point where I don't even hear any rhymes...and where the beat is just random beats put together that I could've came up with. As far as rock many of the new bands are ok but nothing great and they lack their version of nirvana, guns n roses,Iron Maiden, Tool, The Doors, Beatles, Led Zeppelinetc, theres not one band that defines this decade or generation. But I think as far as music that is creative and more inspired rock is leading a bit, but both genres are sucking.
Edit: what moneyman23 said is true though there are good rappers out there like mos def, 2pac, common, ghostface, etc, but the majority that is played for both rap and rock suck imo.

i admire rock n' roll. No offense to rap. as properly the undeniable fact that good rock calls for authentic means, i will relate to a rock song in any form of temper i'm in any time of the day. would be unable to declare the comparable for rap. It would not have the comparable feeling. valuable, a number of of rap songs even have good lyrics, yet merely few are fairly astounding. devil's song? fairly?

Rap of course. People who say rap is crap aren't listening to the right kind of rap. Soulja Boy and T Pain are NOT examples of REAL RAP. people like Nas, Mos Def, Common, Immortal Technique, Gangstar, 2pac, Biggie are perfect examples of rap. Rock is alright too. I mean there are some rock songs that are cool like Headstrong by Trapt, Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day, and Numb by Linkin Park. Rap and Rock are two different types of music so comparing them is useless. Nothing is ever going to change

Rap is a fad. It will never supplant rock.
Think about it. 50's and 60's rock is still around and many youth of today like it as much as my generation did.
