Guild Wars Expansions?

Question

Ok Ok I'm having a really hard time deciding whether to get Factions or Nightfall. I only have the original Guild Wars Prophecies. I want the assassin class from Factions, but I also want the feature in Nightfall where you can customize your heores.

Will both be available in Eye of the North? One or the other? If not, then which one should I get?

You have to have at least one of the three games (Prophesies, Factions, or Nightfall) to use Eye of the North. You will get some heroes in EotN, but you also almost have to be a lvl 20 in order to play any parts of that expansion.

If you can afford it, I would get all the stand alones as well as Eye of the North. I have the first three, and plan on getting EotN soon.

I didn't find Factions such a good game, so i would personally get nightfall instead. Assassins are in factions which are cool, but I'd say the dervish aren't bad in nightfall. Nightfall I think is a better game, and the game play is really what you buy games for...

Eyes of the North gives you access to a total of 10 heroes (one of each starting class) BUT can only be accessed by a character at level 20. It doesn't give you any new character options. So if you don't have Factions, you can't make assassins, just have one in your party.

I honestly prefer Nightfall. I love the Dervish. I also love having heroes, they make soloing SO much easier. Factions does have better PvP though.

In nightfall you have assassin as well so I'll take Nightfall

GW2 isn't out yet. Unknown while it does. the three campaigns are independant of another (Prophecies, Factions and dusk). regardless of the shown fact that EotN demands Prophecies(the 1st one), there is not any requirement to have it to play GW2 yet there will be some rewards.
