As usual, I don't think I can pick just one, I'm too indecisive, but some of my favourites would be:

Vancouver - by Jeff Buckley
Prague - by Damien Rice
Kreuzberg - by Bloc Party
Haiti - by Arcade Fire

Sookie:
Thanks! I was kind of hung over today, and had work, so not not a great combo, but it could be worse :)
Hope you're having a good one too.

Don't know why that came out twice...

Chronon:
Prague is a hidden track at the end of "O". It, and a version of Silent Night with alternate lyrics by Lisa Hannigan, come a few minutes after Eskimo.

I can think of lots in country (George Strait - Amarillo by Morning, Glen Campbell - Wichita Lineman) and pop (Billy Joel - New York State of Mind, Tony Bennet - I Left My Heart In San Francisco) but rock seems to be harder so let's give it a go.

The Ramones - Rockaway Beach & Bonzo Goes To Bitburg
Archers Of Loaf - South Carolina
Ed Hall - Satori In Manhattan, Kansas
Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Philadelphia
Jack White & Loretta Lynn - Portland, Oregon
J Church - Gulf Breeze, Florida
Reverend Horton Heat - Living On The Edge (of Houston)
Dead Kennedys - California Uber Alles
Sonic Youth - NYC Ghosts & Flowers

I'm sure there's more....

Edit : Frank Black - Los Angeles
The Cult - Memphis Hip Snake
X - Los Angeles
Bad Religion - Los Angeles Is Burning
Built To Spill - Twin Falls
Scud Mountain Boys - Massachusetts
Beastie Boys - No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn
Drive-By Truckers - Alabama *** Whuppin'
Flaming Lips - Halloween On The Barbary Coast
Weezer - Beverly Hills
Dropkick Murphys - For Boston

Haiti - Arcade Fire is easily the number one. I haven't heard Prague... is it some sort of b-side? Because Damien Rice is awesome and I have both O and 9.

Others:
Australia - The Shins
Galapagos - Smashing Pumpkins

EDIT: Thanks! I knew there was some stuff after Eskimo, but I never checked it out. Do you by any chance know what all that noise that takes up about fifteen minutes at the end of Sleep Don't Weep is?
