Hi

I would like to know why are The New York Times and the magazine Newsweek trustworthy in order to find information for academic investigations.

Any help will be worth it,

Thanks
Jerry

They have built up a reputation with the quality of their reporting over the years. It takes years to do that, but both are very good at what they do.

Are they a primary source for academic work? Probably not. That's because they compile information just like researchers would. But they both publications could point you in some good directions.
