while i was asleep last night my cat ripped apart his treat bag (from the bottom end) and eat all the treats on my bed. now he's looking at me like "hey, can i have some treats?" should i buy him some more now or wait it out for a couple of days? or is that mean? anyways, he was the one that wanted to pig out when I was sleeping and its not like he doesn't have a bowl full of food all the time. So he wasn't hungry.

Suggest waiting a few days,

and when you get the treats, get one of those plastic cereal
containers the right size for the treats to fit into, so you can keep the precious cat from pigging out.

And I wake up surrounded by plastic all the time,
darn roommates and saran wrap again... ;)

I remember my cat jumped on the counter and got a hold of some CATNIP my husband bought (because he thought it would be funny to play with him) i dont agree with getting a cat high but whatever.. ANYWAYS my cat ripped the unopened bag and ate half of the bag and made a HUGE mess all over the itchen and living room! In looked like someone cut their grass in my house!! I was mad so his punishment was no treats for awhile (its not like he noticed anyway he was high!) LOL i say cats are cats who cares, some dont even give their animals treats! Poor kittiys..

Mine do that ALL the time, too. They manage to get into their bag of food and make a hug mess of shredded paper and food. And I provide them with a huge BUCKET of food, too! I think sometimes their 'wild' instincts kick in and they feel the need to 'hunt' for their own grub. At least that's what I tell myself ; )

And you should buy your cat some more treats. Just put that package up from now on, out of his reach!

oh go buy him a nother bag. Its not his fault he doesn't know the "rules" he was just hungary and those looked mighty tasty at the time. I'm sure if he knew it was wrong, he would appologize to you. Maybe just put them in a plastic container or something that he can't rip open.

Lol that's funny, that spoiled PT of yours! Wait for couple of days then indulge him his "fantasy treat" but try to keep it out of his reach so he won't get more spoiled lol good luck!

wait a couple days to make sure he doesn't get sick. that's alot of treats, which are probably more fatty then the food in his dish.
