We own a PS2 and a Wii. I, as a female find the Wii more enjoyable than the PS2.
I think it's more active, than just sitting in one place just using your thumbs on the controller playing some of the boring PS2 games. Especially the shoot 'em, kill 'em games. We do enjoy the eye toy, pump it up and taiko drum master games for the PS2. They're fun.
With the Wii, everyone seems equal when it comes to playing the sports games or the arcade type games. All ages can enjoy playing the Wii. I think the Wii is more family friendly where everyone can play! A mother can easily play a Wii game with her children, unlike some of the other video game platforms.
It really depends on who the age, gender, and type of games the user likes to play. I think Wii is appealing to a wider range of ages and gender, while the others are better for the guys who like to play the more agressive or sports video games.

Ok heres the deal-- with the wii, it doesn't look as cool when your just reading about it online, but once you get the controllers in your hands and start playing a game it feels amazing and you dont ever wanna let go. It gets very addicting and fun. You have to try it for yourself, after you do that then you'll be sure that you want one. I always thought that the wii was stupid and gay until I got the chance to play one-- then everything turned around and I knew then and there that I was going to end up buying one. I'm getting mine after the christmas rush....

My mothers and dads prefer to play the Wii, my female pal's mothers and dads prefer to play it and that i've got even seen previous human beings enjoying it on the mall. all of us needs a Wii. i've got had mine because of the fact that launch and prefer it. i'm an avid gamer yet i like it better than my 360. the pros are extremely each and every thing. you may desire to play it to nicely known how relaxing that's. Even people who hate the Wii prefer one while they play it. the only cons to the Wii are the video games. many of the video games, like Wii activities, in basic terms are not good adequate. they are relaxing yet they lack administration. ultimately i think of the video games gets impressive. good now the main suitable video games are Rayman, Zelda, Excite Truck and Trauma center. in case you prefer multiplayer Rayman has as much as 4 participant minigames you may compete wherein are truthfully extremely some relaxing. it is not standard Rayman. The rabbids are very relaxing as nicely. Excite truck is two participant, even though it is relaxing. There are not many different video games popping out till January yet then you've Warioware and different great video games.

Out of the 3 available consoles on the market, the wii is definitely the most fun. The xbox360 has very few actual fun games out for it, and the ps3 has very few games out for it, fullstop (plus it costs a bomb). There are lots of fun multi player party games (wii sports, wii play, wario-ware, Mario party) plus, there are some very good single player aspects to it as well (Zelda, Metroid, Mario). the online is a little weak at the moment, but there are some strong online games due (ssb brawl, Mario kart). as both a ps3 owner and a wii owner, i can definitely say that i get the most enjoyment out of my wii. Also, as a tip, don't buy a second wii remote, buy wii play, as it comes with a wii remote and is roughly the same price. Plus, its one of the few consoles that girls will play as much as lads, and anything that get ladies playing is always a benefit.

If you are a Hard core gamer, maybe this is not for you. It doesn't really matter what console I buy...if I had a lot of money
Anyway, if you are active, the Wii is for you. If you are a hard core gamer, buy something else. If you have the right money though...

It's amazing. Even the basic pack-in game Wii Sports is entertaining for hours on end.

It's good for everyone. I'm 31 and love playing bowling and Carnival Games with my friends. My Mother-in-Law is 60 and she likes tennis. We have kids ages 2 - 18 visiting our house and they all love it. Anytime we have friends over, someone is playing the Wii! It's worth the price for the exercise alone!

If you wish to play games on it with friends then its the best console ever. On your own though it can get a bit boring!
