If so, what was it? A wonderful, heart felt gift or.... the ugliest, most ridiculous thing you have ever seen.

Oh lets see so many Christmas gifts and so many cries. The one that pops into mind was the year I received a glass unicorn. Yes it was pretty. And yes I had wanted it. But what made me cry was that I knew my b/f had shop lifted to get it. Although, I kept the treasure, it still makes me cry. I really did like him. Blue (the cat) assures me I made the right choice when I let that dirt bag hit the gutter. That unicorn still makes me cry when I look at it still years later. He could have been a great husband at least from 5 to 10 in prison.

Mine are all good cries............ at least what popped into my head immediately.
Christmas of '89 hubby proposed
Christmas of '93 (took pg test that morning and it was postive) wrapped it up and that was how I told dh we were pg
Christmas of '99 Hubby made a 'nativity stable' for my little nativity figures. Made it totally out of scratch, no pattern, I didn't ask for the gift, he noticed that one tha tcame with the people was shot and I pitched it, jsut had my sitting on the top of out entertainment center and one day when I came in a few days before Christmas, there it was. REALLY COOL gift.

Have gotten the 'crappy' gifts before, but it's usually my in laws who don't a crude whether its something I would like or not, and I am way past them making me cry. I figure its always something to sell on ebay! YIKES!!! ;P

Yes, when I was little I had gotten a stuffed dog for Christmas that I would take with me everywhere. I still don't remember why but one day it just wasn't there anymore. Almost ten years later I was talking to my little sister about how I remember having this dog and if she remembered what happened to it. She said she remembered what is looked like but didn't have a clue.

That Christmas she went out and found the exact same stuffed dog and gave it to me as a present. I was crying like crazy.
