I had a similsr experience about a year ago - was late - took a test and there was a faint line/shadow, even though the first test was negative the second test was shadowed! I waited a few more days and went to the doctor who did a test there and then to determine the result - it was negative. Dont worry about the lateness of this as you have been on anti b's, my friend was on them (they cause the pill to not work properly) and she was about 2 weeks late - so dont worry just yet, on the other hand, as they can stop the pill from working there is a good chance you could be pregnant. Try not to let this bother you (hard i know!) but wait and see what the doctor has to say first. Any way, good luck and i hope you get the result you are looking for!!! xx

How old are you? You write your questions as if you are maybe 10 years old.
As to an answer to your question, each person is different on how to treat menstrual cramps. I myself have found that walking and exercise help lesson the pain. It is better than taking pain medication like tylenol or midol.

You can try upping your iron levels during that time by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course) but if your pain is so bad that you can't function during that time you need to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say.

well i usually just use Midol but i guess you cant use it. so alternatives is getting excersize, not eating too much caffeine or sugar, and another thing for if you're just sitting at home is using a heating pad.
