Dang! You don't consider these turbulent times? Shoot, turbulence has been the norm since humanity hit the dirt. It just seems more turbulent as we continue to overpopulate. It's just a growing problem as we continue to propagate like roaches - more people, more problems.

We only THINK we are exempt from natural law.

Humans have been in turbulent times since day !. Don't believe the 2012 hype. Humans have been worrying about things like that from the beginning, and not a single one so far has been reliable.

I believe that times are ALWAYS turbulent. Stability is a myth. Since we are only concious of our own time on Earth our sense of reality is skewed relative to our own times and surroundings. I am sure if you had lived in 1941 Europe that you would have thought the time was very turbulent. Much more so then current time.

Too damn true we are! But what's new? Can anyone tell me a time that wasn't turbulent? Think yourself lucky that we haven't got the Black Death to contend with. There is an old Chinese curse that says; "May you live in interesting times." Anyway, you haven't got to put up with it for much longer. The Aztecs reckoned that the end of the world would come on the 22nd of December 2012. Just in time to bugger up Christmas, but too late to save you buying the presents.

Yes, Bush is a bad president, America doesn't seem to be getting popular or better (nice country, but slowly declining, and we need to be a more intelligent, caring nation), the Middle East is unstable, the despot of North Korea is unstable as well, and we're treating the planet like crap (we need to be more eco-friendly). Frankly, we need to solve these problems and learn aboot them.

1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:

2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
