what is a celebrity tour?

What does it mean when a celebrity goes on tour on certain places? does that mean they sign autographs and you can take a picture with them if they allow it? well please answer!

Pretty much. They're often out promoting their latest project - a book, movie, record, or clothing line. They're going on as many talk shows as will have them, sometimes do autograph signing appearances at appropriate places - like a bookstore if they're just released a book.

But, they're also VERY hectic. Some are six cities in four days - that kind of thing, so there's a lot of hustle them in the door, across the room, and right out the door.
