Two arenas. I've been to the Corel Centre (Ottawa Senators) and the Air Canada Centre. (Toronto Maple Leafs) I guess the A.C.C. had a better view, but that's probably just because I was the first row in gold at the A.C.C. and practically in the parking lot at the Corel Centre. - Did you hear about that guy who's going to all the different arenas? Apparently he has a blog about it. I could handle that.

1. Pepsi Center (many games)
2. Whatever the Phoenix arena is called...not the new one in Glendale, but the previous one (Phoenix v. Anaheim)
3. GM Place (Vancouver v. Colorado)
4. the Shark Tank (now called HP Pavilion, how punny is that?) (San Jose v. LA)
At the Vancouver game, the home team had a delayed penalty and Colorado pulled their goalie. The Canucks got the puck right in front of the Avs' empty net, and before the play was blown dead as a result, a guy in front of me started freaking out, excited that his player had a wide-open goal to shoot at. Hilarious.
Also amusing: At the Phoenix game, a girl sitting next to me who professed herself a "huge fan" who attended "tons of games" answered my question of whether or not she was excited to see Paul Kariya with "which one is he?"
"Number 9," I said, and she responded:
"For us or them?"
Heehee.
