I'm looking specifically for the Keq value (equilibrium constant) for the reaction Fe3+ + SCN- ---> FeSCN2+ at around 25C

Anyone know where I can find this out? I tried google but didn't have much luck but maybe thats just me

There is a publication by Martell called "equilibrium constants", but you may have to go to a university level library to consult it. Also, unfortunately, the data in this compilation are laid out in a very confusing way, with log K being listed where you would expect to find K, so take care if you use it. However, it is the only comprehensive source that I know.

I found a lab experiment at USC for determining Keq for this reaction, and I'll give you what they found:

Keq = 280
