I do it both ways depending upon my mood. When I have left overs I mix it all together before putting it in the fridge.

I always use a little sauce in the noddles just to keep them from sticking together. The rest of the sauce sits on the side so people can add however much or little they want.

I leave it to the side and pour it on top. It looks nicer that way and then everyone can have the amount of sauce they want.

I put a ladle full on the bottom of the serving bowl, then another on top of the pasta, mix it together and sprinkle some parmesan on. It is just a little, and put a pitcher with more sauce on the table, fresh grated cheese, sausage and meatballs in another dish, hot crispy garlic bread- Yum!

Cook spaghetti and sauce separately, and at the same time, then pour sauce on spaghetti serving.

I leave it on the side.
Because I eat plain sauce, without meat.
I'm a vegetarian.
And the rest of my family eats meat sauce.
