Yes, it's happening even now. As the politicians and mass media over hype both the certainty and effects, scientists are backing off saying "Guys, let's not get too carried away here."

Earth's climate always changes. Always has. Always will. There are former civilizations that have disappeared, because the climate changed in the ancient past and made those areas uninhabitable. Was that due to man made global warming too?

of course!

the only true way to prove anything without flawed results is to get your tempratures within caves. that is the only place that display an average yearly temprature constantly. mountain tempratures change almost continuosly. so if one decade they are a little warmer and another decade the temps. are a little cooler, people will change their minds and say that the information was read differently. you cannot trust anybody. it is a little thing called 'critical thinking'. you global warming believer nuts better read about it and learn about it quikly before you start believing that Micheal Moore is right, Hillary is a godess, and Bush really did send in the millitary to the middle east because he is a sadist nazi who wanted oil and made it all up. what you need to ask before you tell people that the things you heard are true is "how do i know what they are telling me is true? In other words, where do they get thier information and how do i know it is acurate?" people believe in things without understanding them or asking or knowing acurate information. hear both sides of the story before making a judgement. Im a Christian and i believe that Christianity is true because i know the facts and i hear the other sides of the story, i know what others believe, and i know why they believe it, i dont because i know the other side of the story and have made a logical conclusion based on both sides. with Albert Gore, he seems to say to himself, "hmm, what is a 'situation' that people will believe there is no other side to the story? i know global warming! that way i can tell everyone that im right and everyone will believe that my arguments are valid, and then i can back up into the government! Muahahahaha!" notice how he says in his own propaganda film 'an inconvenient truth' "Hi, Im Al Gore. I used to be the next president of the United States." the most arrogant and self righteous statement anyone could ever say. if he really cares about his stupid 'global warming' he wouldnt be driving around in a Lincoln Continental through his whole stupid movie!

dont trust this whole 'global warming' thing that seems to be taking over the world until there is more evidense that it is man made!

even if it was man made, you cant do a damn thing about it!

i believe global warming is true, but it is mearly a natural cycle in the earth. notice how the ice ages seem to be spaced out with generous time periods. every 11,500 years [roughly] the earth goes through heat ages and ice ages. it is completely natural.

no problem at all. leave the situation alone. nothing extreme is happening.

closing statements: critical thinking can change the word if only everyone wasnt so gullibal.

Yeah and don't forget the end of the World theories from the early 1920's. This was when the World went through Global Warming the last time. They were proven to be a "furphy" then and more than likely will again. We'll have to wait until the Bandwagon Jumpers make a heap more money out of us and the World turns to Socialism, before this happens though. Expensive lesson to learn and, in the process, lose all of our freedoms and rights to the Socialists. Oh well, it was a nice place to live while it lasted!

Depends on the length of our sun's next cycle.

From the 40's to the 70's we had had 30 years of cooling even though we had also had the pollution of WW1 and 2 and the first wave of mega industrialization to deal with; by '72 while I was at school it had become a known 'fact' that the next great Ice Age was upon us! The sun's output fluctuated naturally down during that period so plants made less CO2. The sun drives way over 90% of CO2 production which in any event has little effect on the weather as it is absorbed by the oceans. There are models predicting the sun's next cyclical down turn so in 40 years we will indeed have many chickens screeching that the sky is falling and the next ice age is on the way then... again!

do you recognize that a cup of ice tea would not heat up till each and every of the ice interior the cup is long previous? Earth is the same way; earth would be on fire and kill ALL living difficulty while each and every of the ice on earth is long previous. Even in the previous that ensue, it is going to likely be have plenty water flow up and right down to make enormous storms and kill plenty human beings. we are speaking with reference to the destiny; it is going to likely be too previous due, once you will see the worldwide warming at your front backyard. Please be open minded; i know plenty human beings can’t see it, and hundreds of thousands human beings can no longer make that plenty distinctive one way or the different. yet, it is going to likely be extensive distinctive while maximum the inhabitants are doing it good now, how long do you think of the earth can final? understand that Earth isn't that vast; you may flow around the earth in below 2 days.

The thing is, Margaret Thatcher invented man-made global warming because she was trying to promote nuclear energy. It obviously didn't work, but thanks to her, Al Gore found himself a cash cow and he's not about to let it run out. It's interesting to note that in his feature-length "documentary," a judge ruled that he only dealt with actual science for about 23 minutes.

No offense, but this is an ignorant question.

Instead of just repeating right-wing talking points and lies, maybe you should take some time to learn about the history of global warming science, and what the science is telling us now.

The problem is they blame the "global cooling" on "global warming".

Let's ignore global warming and take the chance that maybe we won't spoil the planet for humanity. And while we're at it, let's invade another country without a plan on how to end the war.
