I just heard today why Scots wear kilts instead of pants:
zippers scare the sheep!

Seriously, though, I would be very proud to be Scottish. It's one country I still want to see before I die. I believe the Scots to be a proud, traditional, strong people with much more moral fiber and honor than their neighbors in the United Kingdom or in the U.S.A. -RKO- 11/17/07

It's my understanding that my ancestors were from Peebles/Peebleshire. While I'm an American first, I'm proud to rock my Scottish national team jersey.

I watched the game tonight.... being proud of 'nearly-men' isn't quite good enough. Had they won through , they would have overtaken England in the FIFA rankings after the co-afficiant took place. Scotland always get near the final hurdle , so close that they can see it , only to fall... it's a crying shame though. It must be something to do with our psychy.

Its good to be proud of where you're from. You should be proud to be British too, though... I know I am.
