Barack Obama is the best choice for the American people. He is the only leader that does not care about the interest of his party but rather he cares about the welfare of every citizen in our country. He is the only leader that will be able to break out of the Washington mentality that has consumed all of D.C. Barack Obama is the best chance we have to bring America out of the oil-age, to bring all the nations together to find a workable solution to global warming, and he has the drive and ambition to find solutions for all the domestic issues plaguing our country.

VOTE TO KEEP AMERICA SAFE

2007-11-17 17:09:19 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 4 2

If you asked this last week I would have said Obama. If the primaries were today, I'd vote Richardson. I like his experience with foreign relations, and hope for a president who is able to do something about Darfur, Iran, Pakistan, and Israel (wishful thinking).

I like Biden too, but have to hear more from him.

In a perfect world, and this may sound silly, Kucinich would be a stand up pres. I would feel sorry for the interest groups if he were to take office. I think there would be the most change with Kucinich or Biden, and I'm looking for change.

Im voting democrat. I voted for Bush last time around and have been regretting it ever since. I will vote for Hilary Clinton if she gets the nomination. However, Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee are republican candidates that could change my mind. Romney, Guiliani, Thompson and McCain would NEVER get my vote. I would vote for Obama or Hillary on the Democrat side. Would NEVER vote for John Edwards. With all of that said its going to be Rudy vs Hillary.

I think that it is too early to decide and also that I am not informed enough to give an honest and educated decision. But if I had to choose right now I would choose one of the leading candidates because we do not elect the president but influence a vote, thus I would want it to count. I really know nothing right now about any of them. Still, to pick one now not knowing anything would be off of looks or and idea. so I would probably choose Obama because I think that having a black president would help to ease out some of the minorities racist thoughts. Although I think that one of them would go to the extreme and try to assassinate him. So I might not vote for him to hypothetically save his life.

I'm truly undecided, other than that I'll vote Dem but not for Clinton (in the primaries).

In the general, I'll vote for the Dem assuming it's not Clinton. If it IS Clinton, I might do what I did in 1988 and cast a blank ballot, but it really will depend on who the Republicans put up.

I'm not old enough, but I think I would vote for Barack Obama. I like what he stands for, I think that his views and mine line up the most. But I wish he would talk about lowering taxes. That's taken a back seat, since the war in Iraq and everything.

Bill Richardson in my state's primary. Clinton, reluctantly, in the general election (assuming she is the Democratic nominee and Richardson is not). Richardson is clearly the most qualified candidate for president; he's got the resume. I would vote for Clinton in the general election simply because she would be the Democratic candidate.

Ron Paul

A brief overview of his record:
He voted against the Iraq war.
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He is a strong advocate of free trade.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He opposes invading Iran.
He opposes amnesty for illegals.
He will drastically reduce the debt the United States is in, by reducing government spending.. taking the burden off taxpayers.
He voted NO to the amendment banning gay marriages.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Barack Obama or whoever wins the democratic nomination. I'd have a hard time voting for Hillary Clinton, but almost all the Republican candidates are completely insane.
