Due to the fact there is a little known Michigan law that in order to be a resident of this state you must love Bob Seger and I can't afford to move right now, I have to go with Seger.
And not to nit-pick but I thought Seger was from the Ann Arbor area? Just curious....

We used to go to a night club in Detroit way before Bob was a national name. They were Bob Seger and the Detroit Herd. They rocked that place. "Proud Mary" used to bring the roof down. I never will forget them.

Although, I love both of their artistic abilities. I have to say, without hesitation, Bob Seger. He captivates a larger fan base, in my opinion. I recently purchased a CD of his best songs. I love the sound of his voice and the way he sings about personal experiences. He is one of my favorite singers of all time. I went to his concert, recently in Tn. and as I suspected, HE did not disappoint. Yes, Seger is Detroit's finest!

While I too am a big Bob Seger fan, my personal choice would be "Kid Rock" since he came out with the song "Only God Knows Why". Not saying that he is actually the best, but that I can relate to the lyrics in his song.
