Axl Rose.
He was/is a vain, self righteous little so and so - but he was a brilliant man, he wrote excellent songs, and he was great at what he did.
Kurt Cobain
Never before has an artist been able to touch my heart the way he did. He was an extremely inspiring man, he had such a sorrowful tone to his voice that could never be replicated.
May he rest in peace.
Freddie Mercury
Just watch him. He was an excellent all-round entertainer.
May he rest in peace.
edit; I have to agree with Rex B, Hutchence was another one of the greats. It's a shame i have to say this so many times in one answer, but may he rest in peace.

in case you prefer the full equipment thus far as what bands at present base their frontman on then i'd say Robert Plant. He became interior the main suitable band. He had a great voice, the girls enjoyed him. He had alot of puzzle to him and that i think of thats what you prefer in singer. different ones i'd say would be: Mick Jagger Alice Cooper Ozzy Jim Morrison Roger Daltry .....
