Very likely the thin little ribbon cable that connects your computer to it's monitor has given out at the hinge. Most likely you lost your green feed. It is not impossible to repair it, but it might not be worth it.

It's angry LOL!!! It's your monitor, take it to somewhere like Best Buy or where you bought the laptop and have them look at it.

I think your monitor couldn't get data from processor. Yes! I am talking about laptop.
