Sleeping alone allows for so much more rolling around and careless farting. It's a much more comfortable environment to provide a full night's sleep.

Go to the guest room with him. My husband does this every now and then and I let him sleep there for a night because he's hurt or angry and needs a little time. The next night, as he lays down to sleep I walk in and join him. It always catches him off guard and opens him up to talking. His company is worth more to me than the comfy bed and by joining him I can show it and we're able to work through what's bothering him.
But then again, your husband might just like the other mattress.

He's holding some type of grudge. Or he has some physical problem - snoring? gas?
Those here can never know what it is - you have to find out for yourself.
Stop enabling him by allowing one aspect of your marriage to suffer while you keep giving him sex. Tell him no more nookie until he starts talking goddamned quick and you work out the problem.
But whatever you do, for the love of god DO NOT follow the advice of "Barbara DeAngelis" as someone above suggested. That dysfunctional idiot broad has been divorced *5 times*!!!

Ask him to come back and join you just for a few nights and if he still does not want to sleep in the same bed with you then i guess that is the way it is going to be. Some people just sleep better by them selves.

Say you are cold and move in with him! Keep doing it until he is used to it. Take the opportunity to decorate your own bedroom together to make it a 'new start' whilst you camp in the spare room. When your bedroom has had its makeover, move into it together. Never let this happen again. It takes a lot of pride to move back in together and some people never do!

Why don't you move into the guest room with him? If you want to sleep with him, it does not have to be the master bedroom. If he move away again. He's not into this marriage anymore. Sorry, it's time to move on.
