The heaver oil will make it a little hard to start in the winter, both are summer oils to use. God Bless

20-50 Is commonly used in deisel engines which run hotter. This grade is suitble for gas engines in hot climates but should be changed for winter weather.

It wont hurt it unless you try to start it when its below 0 degrees f outside. Some people use thicker oil to cure consumption problems.

if you live in a state that has cold winters it will be. in the cold 20 weight oil will be to thick to circulate in your engine from start up and it will sooner or later be fried.
