Or do you just let it go knowing that you knew what they meant?

I usually let it go. I mean, why make a big deal about it anyway? Is making someone feel bad about their poor spelling going to make anyone fell good? Not me..... I know some people who were not able to finish school and are terrible spellers.... But they're still good people don't deserve to be belittled or punished because they cannot spell better. However, I do believe that it only takes a second to hit that spell check button and double check how your answer is going out. So.... It pays to take the time and use it. As for those who are really annoyed by it.... How hard is it to just ignore it? Really, is it going to hurt anybody?

Sometimes I intentionally misspell words to give the sentence that "Back Woods" feeling.
After all, none of us speak perfect English.
Am keenly aware of international users on here and certainly wouldn't want to offend someone.
Reminds me about an email I received from a British gentleman last year. He had spelled a medical term differently than we do here in the U.S. and that is how the term is actually spelled in Great Britain.

I let it go; the only time I mention anything is when the person is being a jerk.

If it's one small mistake that could easily be a typo, I simply let it go. But if multiple words are misspelled, almost as if they're misspelling on purpose, that's another story.

That annoys me because some people think it makes them look cool. I think it makes them look stupid.

I just leave it alone. Even though it gets on my nerves sometimes. But it gets on my nerves even more because people try to correct it instead of answering the question.

I let it go. As long as I know what they meant, why be a jerk and try to humiliate them?

It bothers me when there is a spell check and people don't use it and expect that people will know what they are talking about.
