I had an engraved brass name plate for my old horse. It was given to me as a gift, so I'm not really sure where it came from. At a guess probably from a horse catalogue like www.robinsons-uk.com or www.rideaway.co.uk or www.derbyhouse.co.uk

Of cause the best place to have a look would be ebay! (www.ebay.co.uk)
I've just had a quick browse by typing in 'stable door name plate' and also 'stable door plaque'
There's some really nice ones on there that can be personalised for you and the prices are really good too.

Ebay, local ads in paper. We have used car number plate makers and made our own.

I make mine also - but a local woodshop can carve really lovely ones for quite little money!
