true marriage is not made for cowards, who run away to escape life when the circumstances aren't to their liking. if all men thought as u did there would be less infidelity and more trying to work on marriages. its so easy to walk away, and find someone new in hopes that your escaping something u can't deal with, but in reality your most likely getting the same old life only much worse.

Awesome it is not really a question but I agree. When I married my wife I felt that God had put us together for a reason.

I do not know why people marry if they do not feel this connection with the person they are with.

May God Bless You and your family and Best Wishes.

I have to agree. I also don't know if "getting bored" is the only issue. I think marriage is about maturity and building a life together with the person, for better or for worse. Sometimes life is so crappy that the only sure thing we have is our spouse.

i agree you shouldn't divorce if you get bored, but what if one person is doing all the work? what if one person isn't available emotionally and refuses to take care of themselves so that they cannot possibly begin to care for their spouse or children? what about abusive situations or adultry? i think sometimes people have to move on (get a divorce or separate) to keep living. otherwise, they will get depressed and "stuck" in their lives. maybe it is a sin to get divorced, but if you stay in an unhealthy relationship (and don't feel love in your immediate family), how can you possibly continue to feel love from God? i think it is a very individual decision.

Holy Matrimony was created by God.

Marriage is hard work. Even when the marriage is good .. it can be hard work.

Marriage .. and what it means .. is in the eye of the beholder.

I have SO MUCH RESPECT .. for the people who uphold & respect their spouse!

It is hard, it takes work, and it takes sacrifice.
Selfihness is rampant in today's society, and is a HUGE contributor to the high divorce rate. Immature people cannot make sacrifices, and think "me" instead of "we".

It should be much harder than it is to get married.

getting bored isn't the only reason couples divorce. How about not having to put up with the spouse beating the crap out of you? I won't allow anyone to beat me up and I won't allow my child to see her father beat me up. Got a problem with that one?

I agree with you.....I really think people use the government as an excuse to not get legally married...so they can walk away when things get tough in the relationship.....The government is in all our lives...in one way or another....and it matters not if we are married.....
